Australian Governor
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, May 19. The Prime Minister, Sir Robert Menzies, said today he had not yet thought about a successor to the GovernorGeneral, Lord de L’lsle. In the House of Representatives, a Victorian Labour member, Mr N. L. Beaton, asked for a distinguished Australian to succeed Lord de L’lsle. He also asked the Prime Minister if he had- thought of taking the position himself. The Governor-General still has 14 months of his appointment to go.
