MEAT BOARD VISIT
Discussions In City The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board will visit Christchurch early next month to meet farmers and other representatives of the industry. The visit will begin on the afternoon of June 2 when calls will be made on the Mayor (Mr G. Manning) and the Lyttelton Harbour Board. The following morning the board will have discussions with the meat and wool sections of North Canterbury and Mid-Canterbury Federated Farmers, and in the afternoon it will meet directors of Canterbury based freezing companies. The board will return to Wellington that evening and meet in Wellington the following day.
