Mexican Beef Limited

The United States announced yesterday that Mexico had agreed to limit beef and veal shipments to the American market this year to a level 9 per cent below 1963. The pact, announced by the Agriculture and State Departments, was along the same lines as agreements concluded with Australia, New Zealand and Ireland in February The four countries with which arrangements have been completed supply 90 per cent of American imports of fresh and frozen beef and veal.
