Wandering Dogs
Sir,—l am a great doglover. 1 own a dog, a good companion and more human than most humans, more brains than “Prevent Disease.” If he never goes to picnics, or takes a young family out, would he not see and realise that humans pollute public areas? Why condemn dogs? Why do neighbours allow their cats to run wild, and pollute and destroy their neighbours’ gardens? If “Prevent Disease” would care to be tied up for 24 hours I would be happy to oblige.—Yours, etc., NOT A MONGREL. May 13. 1964.
