Whangarei Glass Dumped
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, April 29. An estimated 100 cases of horticultural glass, made by the ill-fated McKendrick Glass Manufacturing Company and since stored, was thrown on. the Whangarei rubbish dump on Monday. On Monday night and yesterday many people were salvaging the glass, but by this afternoon most of it had been buried.
