N.Z. Firemen’s Officers
The president of the Auckland Fire Brigadesmen’s Union (Mr A. Monk) was elected president of the New Zealand Fire Brigadesmen’s Federation at its annual meeting in Wellington last week. The secretary of the Christchurch. Fire Brigadesmen’s Union (Mr G. C. Walker) was elected secretary of the federation. Mr Monk replaces Mr H. D. Halliburton, who did not stand for re-election. Mr Walker replaces Mr T. M. Hill, who did not seek re-election as secretary. Mr Hill has been secretary of the federation for at least six years. Mr Walker was nominated for the position by members of the Auckland union.
