WOOL SALES IN LONDON
Brighter Tone At Close ■ (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, April 24. Competition was more general and the tone of the market brighter at the close of the London April wool sales. London Wool Brokers, Ltd., and the London agency of the New Zealand Wool Commission in a joint report say that prices for greasy and scoured crossbreds compared with the opening day ruled fully firm, but slipes showed some irregularity with the shorter lambs up to 2} per cent easier.
