MELBOURNE REPAIRED

The aircraft-carrier Melbourne, which was damaged in the collision with the destroyer Voyager on February 10, left Cockatoo Island dry dock today with a new prefabricated bow. Two hundred men worked around the clock to build and fit the 80-ton section. The Royal Navy Daring class destroyer Duchess —the replacement for the Voyager —berthed at Williamstown naval dockyard yesterday. It is on loan to the Royal Australian Navy for an unlimited period.
