Second Round Of Billiards The second successive loss by last year’s champion, R.S.A. 1, and the convincing win of Commercial Travellers over the competition leader, R.S.A. 11, were the highlights of the second round of the inter-club billiards competitions. Displaying form more in keeping with his true ability. New Brighton’s B. Kirkness gained the individual honours, with a convincing win over V. Chote. D. Watson was mainly instrumental m Commercial Travellers’ win, demonstrating skill and temperament in coming from 40 points behind to take the game. N. Belgians D o m i n a t e.— Georges Van Coningsloo, of Belgium, has won the 186mile annual Paris-Brussels cycling race. Rik Van Looy, of Belgium, was second and -hird was the world champion Benoni Beheydt, of Belgium.
