Soccer Tour Too Ambitious fN.Z. Press Association' DUNEDIN. April 27. Distress at the New Zealand Football Association's action in sending a New Zealand team on a “too ambitious” world tour was expressed by some members of the Otago Football Association tonight. The meeting's general opinion was that New Zealand bad lost prestige in the “soccer world” by the poor showing of the team in its matches. It was obvious to everyone that the team which had nearly ended its world tour should never have left New Zealand. Dr. J. Dacre said. The Football Association had not asked the provincial associations for tbeir opinions before the tour.
