(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright.) BANGKOK, April 22. The military junta which overthrew the Government in Vientiane last Sunday was still in control of the capital, Mr Farolan, the Philippine Ambassador to Saigon, said today.

Mr Farolan described the situation in the capital as calm.- The coup was quiet and efficient, he said. Other. travellers from Vientiane said the population was indifferent to the coup. They said they understood that General Kong Le, commander of the neutralist troops, threw in his lot with the coup leaders as reported by Radio Vientiane.
