£13,900 From Golden Kiwi

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 8. Grants from Golden Kiwi lottery profits totalling £13,985 were announced today by Mr W. A. Stevenson, chairman of the recreation and youth activities distribution committee. At a recent meeting the committee considered 145 applications for assistance. Fourteen immediate grants totalling £13,185 were approved, and a grant of £BOO previously approved by the committee was confirmed because specified conditions had been fulfilled.
