First Home In Safari
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) NAIROBI, March 30. Ford Cortinas were the first and second cars to arrive here today at the end of the gruelling 3180-mile East African Safari. A Peugeot 404 came in third. Officials said these were provisional placings, based on arrival only. Final positions based on overall points will be announced later.
The Swedish driver, Erik Carlsson, in his Saab, was fourth to arrive. The three first cars to finish were driven by local teams.
