BIG LOSS IN FIRE
Lasted 15 Minutes (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 1. A fire lasting only 15 minutes caused several hundred pounds of damage to stock, fittings and equipment in Ross and Glendining’s Stafford street hat factory at 9.15 this morning.
Prompt action by four units of the Dunedin Central fire brigade confined the fire to the rear of the building.
The fire gutted the spray room and caused smoke and water damage to ceiling walls and other plant
