Died From Injuries

A farm manager, who was severely injured in a road accident and was unconscious in the Christchurch Hospital for 17 days, died early yesterday morning. He was Patrick James Murray Chaffey, aged 30, of Glen Colwyn station, Parnassus.

Mr Chaffey was pinned under a vehicle near the Leader river bridge on March 14. He was taken to hospital by ambulance but died without regaining consciousness. He is survived by his wife and two children.
