Mackenzie To Lead Athletics
/N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, March 31. D. W. Mackenzie, of Canterbury, was selected today as captain of the New Zealand Universities athletics team which will tour Australia in two weeks’ time. The team will compete in Sydney. Canberra and Melbourne and will complete the tour with a “test” against Australian Universities. The team announced is:— J. Aratema (Auckland), J. Beckett (Auckland), P. Crawford (Canterbury), J. Palmer (Auckland). R. Hamilton (Auckland), R. Ibbotson (Otago), R. Johnson (Otago), K. McDell (Auckland), D. W. Mackeniie (Canterbury), B. McNeill (Auckland), P. Norris (Auckland), A. Steel (Canterbury).
