GV.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 24. An overhead line at Te Atatu that was touched by the aluminium mast of a boat killing two men, complied in all respects with the Electricity Supply Regulations, the chief engineer of the Waitemata Electric Power Board (Mr C. M. Gray) told the board today. A careful examination had been made of the line, he said.
The regulation clearance for the line at that point was 22 feet, and the measured clearance was 26 feet, he said. The mast was about 26 feet.
