SUSPENSION OF LICENCE
Dangerous Drug Prescriptions Dr. Douglas McKelvie Jack, a registered medical practitioner, has been prohibited from issuing prescriptions for the dispensing of dangerous drugs. In a notice in the Gazette, the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) said that he was satisfied that Dr. Jack had committed a breach of the terms of the licence held by him under the Dangerous Drugs Regulations, 1951. Mr McKay said that this action was taken on the recommendation of the Medical Council.
Waterfront Holidays.—Vessels will not be worked on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, or Easter Monday at Lyttelton, but vessels which can complete and sail on Easter Saturday, will be worked that day.
