ANZAC DAY SPORT
Canterbury Rugby and soccer, at meetings last evening, agreed to seek permission from the Christchurch City Council to play matches on Anzac Day. The Rugby Union wishes to play club matches in the afternoon, proceeds to be given to charity. The Football Association wants permission to play competition games in all grades.
