Gaoled For One Month
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Mar. 23. Marital difficulties over a period of years had led to John Lolesio’s knife attack on his wife, his counsel (Mr J. A. Tannahill) said in the Magistrate's Court today. Lolesio, aged 29, a carpenter, was sent to gaol for one month by Mr M. B. Scully, S.M., when he appeared for sentence on a charge of assault on March 15 with intent to injure.
