BUILDING AT UNIVERSITY
Otago Plans (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. March 24. Major building projects which the University of Otago hopes to embark on in the next five years include the first stage of a new physical sciences complex and the first stage of a new biological sciences building. After a meeting of the university council today, the vice-chaneellor (Dr. A. Beacham) said a list of projects had been submitted to the University Grants Committee. This included a chemistry building, stage one of the physical sciences complex and a building for the botany department. There was also a substantial extension to the physical education buildings.
