LOWER GRADE RESULTS

A final round of one-day matches in the Canterbury Cricket Association competitions was played on Saturday. Lower grade games resulted as follows:

Second Grade A Boys’ High School 237 for nine declared (Bull 105, Henry 78Cocks four for 50) beat Lancaster Park 128 (Dobson 52Hounsell six for 41), on the first innings. High School Old Boys 225 (Snook 102; Mather five for 74, Wylie four for 64) drew with St. Albans 202 for eight (Arnesen 100 not out, Todd 63; Belcher six for 40). Technical Old Boys 218 for eight declared (Smith 82, Fox 40; Blakely three for 18) beat Christ’s College 92 (Sparks six for 50) and 173 for eight (Hunt 71: Fox four for 44), on the first innings. Second Grade B Burnside 143 for seven (Reeves 48 not out; Fox three for 44) beat West-University 138 (Allsop 42; Hill four for 37, Reeves three for 37), on the first innings. Old Collegians 206 for six declared (Wait 61, Gibson 42) beat Technical Old Boys 108 (Dryland 65). on the first innings.
