Two Members Returned
Mr R. S. Lester, the representative of the six local bodies entitled to nominate, has been returned to the Christchurch Technical College board of managers without the necessity of an election. The Mayor (Mr G. Manning) has also been reappointed the representative of the City Council. Representatives are still to be appointed by the University of Canterbury, the Canterbury Education Board, and former pupils (one each); and employers’ and employees’ organisations (three each).
