INVERCARGILL, March 20. Golden Glen, In the President’s Handicap, and Little Suzie, in the Otautau Hack Handicap, will be a favoured double combination at the Birchwood Hunt's annual meeting at Invercargill tomorrow. Golden Glen, which is to be ridden by J. R. Dowling, has yet to win in open company, but he comes into the higher grade with an outstanding back- ? round of middle distance hack orm. There was rain today but it has not affected the track to any extent. The going will be firm but dead. Steeplechasers The appearance of several prominent steeplechasers engaged at Riverton will be followed with some interest as most of them have been off the scene for some months. Port Laynard and Napoleon Bonaparte may prove the best of the Gardner Memorial Steeplechase field.
