NATIONAL WOMEN S HOSPITAL (2 POSITIONS) APPLICATIONS are Invited from General Medical Practitioners of at least one year s standing for the position of Obstetrical and Gynaecological House Surgeons, or of at least two years’ standing for the positions of Senior House Officers, National Women’s Hospital. The appointees will be required to commence duty on July 1, 1964 for a period of six months or longer. These positions are recognised as residential training for the M.R.C.O.G. and N.Z. Diploma in Obstetrics qualifications. Intending applicants should state full details of qualifications, experience and future intentions with regard to postgraduate activities and training. The appointments are full time for a period of 12 months from July 1. 1964, and are recognised as residential training for the M.R.C.O.G. and N.Z. Diploma in Obstetrics qualifications. Married accommodation will be provided where required and applicants, if married with a family, should state age and sex of children. The salary prescribed by the regulations for these positions is: (a) Junior Registrar: £1295-1380-1430 per annum llving-in. (b) Senior Registrar: £l4BO or *£1530-1605-1680 per annum living-in. The commencing salary within these scales is according to qualifications and experience in this specialty. AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT OF MEDICAL SOCIAL OF MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICES SERVICES APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the position of Medical Superintendent of Medical Social Services. This appointment involves the creation of a new post, the necessity for which has been brought about by the expansion of the board’s medical social services as part of the board’s policy to extend these services and to overtake the waiting lists of patients awaiting admission to hospitals. Possession of the Diploma in Public Health or equivalent experience in public health is required. The salary will probably be within one of the following scales: £2480-2620-2710-2800 or £2BOO-2900-3000-31000 per annum. The appropriate scale the commencing salary and any maximum salary within these scales will be determined by the Medical Officers’ Salaries Grading Committee In accordance with the qualifications and experience of the appointee.

It is desirable that applicants should have had previous experience in medical administration.
