ATHLETICS Competitors Set Six Records At Papanui

Fire records and a best performance were set at the Papanui High School athletics sports. H. Dzenis. the Canterbury under 17 javelin champion, threw the discus to a best performance mark of 94ft Sin. Dzenis was untroubled to win the senior competition—he scored his maximum of 30 points—and was a clear winner of the field events cup. T. Teague, the inter-second-ary schools junior sprint champion. added the 220 yards recprd to the 100 yards time he set last year. An intermediate, L. Havward long-jumped 15ft 2in, and in the 75 yards.
