FLORAL ART COURSE
Men Attending Classes The new floral art course run by the Y.W.C.A. was attended by 21 men and women at the opening class, held on Thursday night, said the general secretary (Miss L- M. Scott) yesterday. The six-week course is a new venture for the Y.W.CA., and it was interesting to see men attending, Miss Scott said. , 'The tutor for the course is Mrs J. Wright, Most: -other classes were now started; and well attended, Miss Scott said. The yoga class run by Mrs G. Guy was attended by more than 50 persons and “applications were flowing in.” The ballroom dancing class, which was held for the first time
last year, will start again on April .2. This, course had proved very popular, and there had been many inquiries for entry into this year’s class, Miss Scott added- The teacher will be Miss C. Storr.
Instruction in gym work given by Miss. S. Nlmmo, will be a feature of the programmes of the Y Teens (secondary school girls) and Blue Triangle club (primary school girls), Miss Scott said.
