The Associated Booksellers of New Zealand elected the following officers at' the annual conference at Hanmer Springs: president, Mr W. A. Carthew (Pahiatua); immediate past president, Mr J. M. Woods (Hamilton); vice-president, Miss M. Middlemiss (Marton); councillors, Messrs F. Barnard, K. R. Carey, D. K. Emanuel, R. Goddard, J. D. Hallagan, A. G. Hedley, J. S. Hyndman,. D; B. Paul, R. G. Parsons, G. Tait, and J. Budd.
