OPOTIKI DAMAGE
Estimates Prepared (X2. Press Association) GISBORNE, March 20. The Opotiki Borough Council has retained the services of Mr B. Henderson, an Atick-. land engineer, to prepare estb mates of the damage suffered in the borough during last week’s disastrous’ flooding. Mr Henderson is also In charge of the restoration of the borough water supply scheme. ■ ’ It was decided at a special meeting of the Opotiki Borough Council, to accept an offer from the Opotiki Rotary Club to conduct a house-to-house investigation for any assistance required.
