EXCHANGE BUILDING
Contract Let For Halswell (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, March 20. A contract has been let by the Ministry of Works for the erection of the Halswell Post Office telephone exchange building, said the PostmasterGeneral (Mr Scott) today. The building is to be erected by the Moore Construction Company, and construction should take about six months. The new building, designed by the Ministry of Works, will be of reinforced concrete and have a total floor area of 3360 square feet. It will be erected on the post office site in Quarry road.
