LONG TRIAL FOR CAR
Youths Found In Auckland (N.Z, Press Assoclatiani AUCKLAND, March 20. Two youths who were allowed to .take a £lOOO • car for a-trial spin from a'Hamilton firm yesterday drove the car to Auckland, Sergeant I. V. .Edwards told Mr W. J. Meade, S.M, in the Magistrate’s Court today. Richard Takiwri March, aged 17/ a linesman, arid Kenneth Francis Brown, aged 19, a workman, admitted converting the car, > Both were convicted and remanded to March 26 for probation reports arid sentence. Sergeant Edwards said the youths approached a Hamilton motor firm yesterday, saying they had . just sold a car for £5OO and wanted to buy a 1960 model. When the type of car they wanted arrived in the yard soon after, the salesman told the youths to take a short trip to try it out. They did not return, and were located jn Auckland last night.
