Rabbi tte last evening, \ Cn.Rabbitte was one of . the sSx councillors who;*. supported and voted for the fluoridation issue ata meeting of. the Waimairi County Council on Thursday evening. “I decided to get in touch with some- of those who signed the petition and of the 26 to whom I explained the’advantages of fluoridation 19 apologised for signing,” he said. “They told me they sighed in a.hurry.” ■■■■.. Two others wbre in favour of fluoridation, but objected to the cost, and the remaining- five were against the proposal altogether, said Cr.Rabbitfe. ’•
