PALMERSTON N., Mar. 19. Dreadnought gained his third win from as many starts since he resumed racing at Cambridge earlier this month when he took the President’s Handicap, main event and first leg of the double on the second night of the Manawatu Trotting Club’s meeting tonight Dreadnought the 1/2 favourite, beat Our Change by a neck, with Ra Pointer a length away third. Forshy completed a shortpriced double when he beat Hurry Up and Robin’s Return in the second leg, the Oroua Handicap. The Dread-nought-Forshy combination paid £8 Ids 6d for £l. The weather was fine and the track fast. There was a fair attendance. The totalisator on-course handled £27,753, compared with £28,876 on the corresponding day last year, a decrease of £1123.
