LIFE BOYS’ TEAM
Enrolment Service
An enrolment service will be held in the John Knox Presbyterian Chureh Hall tonight for members of the Ist Rangiora Life Boy Team. Each of the 38 boys, aged between eight and 11, will be presented with membership cards by the team chaplain (the Rev. M. N. Dickey). The leader in charge of the team, Mr W. Lovell, said yesterday this was the largest number of members the team had had since its inception. A large number of parents and friends are expected to attend the service, which will be held before the normal team programme. The Canterbury area supervisor (Mr W. R. Johns) will also attend.
Similar services will be held in all Life Boy teams throughout New Zealand during the next four weeks.
