AUCKLAND, March 19. His ability to last well in a hard middle distance gives the local gelding, Advocacy, a fine chance in the £lOOO Hooking Memorial at Whangarei tomorrow. A useful stayer with some good recent form over the long distances, Advocacy will have a big following. Blue Heather, Pin Money, and Dry Martini could be his hardest opponents.

From his last six starts Advocacy has not been further back than fifth.

The Hosking Memorial is the first leg of the T.A.B. double. The second leg, the Mangatapere Handicap, may go to Mantovani. The weather has been fine and the going is expected to be good.
