CHANGE IN TRAINERS
Flying Maiden And Gay Reel
D. G.. Jones will appear in the official race card as the trainer of Gay Reel at Addington Raceway on Saturday, while A. R. McKenzie will be listed as the trainer of Flying Maiden. Gay Reel was shown as being trained by her owner, at Pukekohe on the first night of the meeting, while Flying Maiden was shown as being trained by her owner, C. H. Baynes, at Gore. Gay Reel was sent south to be looked after by Jones during the meeting, while Flying Maiden was sent north to be in the care of McKen* zle.
Neither Butcher nor Baynes sent any attendant to look after the horses during their stay in Canterbury, and the New Zealand Trotting Conference has ruled that they must appear In the official race card under the names of the trainers in whose stables they are at present As a result a new driver will have to be found for Flying Blue, which Jones drove on the first night of the meeting. Both Flying Blue and Gay Reel are in the Easter Cup (Third Heat) tomorrow.
