CENTENARY OF CHURCH
St. Paul’s To Celebrate
The centennial celebrations of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church will be held between April 17 and 20. Among those attending will be two former ministers, the Rev. A. Watson, 1932 to 1941, who will travel from his parish at Toorak, Melbourne, and the Very Rev. S. C. Francis, 1943 to 1963, who is now director of Presbyterian Social Services in Southland. The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand (the Rt. Rev. J. S. Murray) will also take part. The centennial programme will include a pageant of youth, a special reunion meeting, a car drive around the city, an organ recital, and a congregational social. A centennial booklet, compiled by Miss P. Brunt, will be available.
