There is no truth whatever that a meeting of the Alliance brands of the Freezing Workers* Union ended in a brawl yesterday afternoon, said its secretary (Mr E. R. Clifford) in a statement today. Mr Clifford said the union sras concerned that such a report had been published and distributed throughout New Zealand. “Our union gives a categorical denial to the report that yesterday's meetlmg ended in fisticuffs invoiving mere than a dosen men,” sasid Mr Clifford. The union intended to tafte action on the matter, he saijd.
