Forbury Park Meeting “The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, March 17. Features of the programme for the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s winter meeting on May 2 and 6 will be a £5OO race for two-year olds and a £550 race for three-year-olds on the first night. Distances for these events will be one mile and five furlongs and 108 yards. The race for the three-year-olds will be for pacers, which have won one race or more.
On the second night there will be a race for three and four-year-olds. The main event on the opening night will be for trotters, with a stake of £lOOO. The class is 2.12, but 2.14 horses will be eligible to nominate.
On the second night the race for trotters will be for 2.16 class horses, with a stake of £650. On the opening night the 2.14 class race for pacers will carry a stake of £9OO and on the second night the stake will be £lOOO. The total stakes for the meeting will be £lO.OOO. K
