Warning To Shareholders
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 17. The board of directors of the Wellington Publishing Company, Ltd., proprietors of the “Dominion,” today issued the following statement: “The board draws the attention of its shareholders to the very difficult situation which would arise should two overseas concerns obtain lodgment within our company. “Negotiations are proceeding with News, Ltd., of Adelaide. “The amended Thomson offer is now in the hands of shareholders. “The board must emphasise that registration of any shares sold to overseas interests has yet to be decided.”
