Early-Flowering Chrysanthemums A show of early-flowering chrysanthemums was held on Saturday by the Canterbury Chrysanthemum Society in the Christchurch West High School hall. The show attracted about ISO entries in the competitive sections, and featured a special display of more than 700 blooms by Mr Leo Clark. An early-flowering chrysanthemum is one which flowers in the open ground without protection before April 1.
