Signs Of Neurosis
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, March 16.
Everybody is neurotic in some way, according to Dr John Ellard, honorary psychiatrist at the Sydney Royal North Shore Hospital.
He told a conference of businessmen in Sydney last week that neuroses could help a person’s promotion. He explained that the giveaway signs of neurosis were: If you are unduly anxious. If you don’t get along with people. If you feel everyone else is being difficult.
If you think people are not giving you a fair go. If you are not able to love other people. If you drink too much or smoke too much, or If you are too independent.
Honour For Layman.—Pope Paul has made the Federal Opposition leader, Mr Arthur Calwell, a knight commander of the Order of St. Gregory the Great, civil division, with Grand Silver Star.—Canberra, March 16.
