MUTTON PROMOTION MEAL FOR CHEFS.—More than 400 of Japan’s leading cooks and chefs attended this dinner, featuring New Zealand mutton, when their association met in Tokyo recently. The meal was organised by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, whose representative in Tokyo (Mr P. Robinson) later urged members to serve New Zealand mutton in their hotels and restaurants.
