The successful applicant will be required to supervise the Contracts Debtors ledger, prepare statistical costing returns and activity reports. Past experience with the Government or a large contracting organisation would be a distinct advantage in this respect. The building is under construction and machinery is soon to be erected. The factory will produce nylon filament yam, and will be of the most up to date design, many of its operations being electronically controlled; the factory is scheduled to go on stream early in January, 1965. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for all the Company’s engineering; and will be responsible for the efficient operation of the factory. Experience in industry is desirable: but essentially the Company must have a man with a good background in engineering. Training in the Company’s special field will be given, and there would be a period of service alongside the "pilot” staff who will initially manage the plant. Qualifications Applicants should have a University Degree in Engineering and be Registered Engineers, and Corporate Members of a Professional Institution. Their degree may be In Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering. Age It Is expected that the applicant with the necessary background will be not less than 35 years of age. and an upper limit of 45 years is envisaged. These limits are indicative, but not necessarily exclusive. Salary The salary paid will be generous and commensurate with qualifications, experience and evidence of ability. Superannuation The company proposes to establish a Staff Superannuation scheme on a contributory basis.
