Awards Made To Electricians
The P.D.L. award for the most balanced paper in the electricians’ examination was yesterday awarded to John Walter McKay, of Timaru. the award was announced at the annual conference of the Institute of Electricians. The A. W. Gooder advanced medallion for the highest aggregate in papers A and B of the November examinations was awarded to John Russell Wolstenholme of Auckland. He received 82 marks in paper A and 87 in paper B.
A Nigerian patrol ship is carrying out oceanographic exploration in the Gulf of Guinea.
