BOYS’ BRIGADE COURSE

An officers’ training course for the Canterbury Battalion of the Boys’ Brigade will be held at Leigh Camp. Loburn, during the week-end. Fifty boys will attend, including some from South Canterbury, the first to do so for a number of years. Boys attending their first or second courses will be given instruction In drill, physical training methods, and company organisation. Those attending their third or later course will be preparing for the Duke of Edinburgh award. The commanding officer of the camp, Mr W. T. Garlick, will be assisted by Mr F. Hilton, as adjutant. The Rev. J. Taylor will be chaplain.
