Retains Table Tennis Title

Selwyn 1, with another briliant victory is now assured of winning the 1963-64 senior summer table tennis competition. In the nineteenth round of matches, it beat Wallabies 1, 10-2, to gain an unbeatable position.

The team also won the championship last season, as ■well as the South Island inter-dub championship.

V. N. Brightwell (Selwyn 1), who has lost only one match this season, was in spectacular form, beating another Canterbury representative«N. B. Radford, in a hardhitting match. D. D. M. Stewart (University), with three further singles wins, appears certain to be top scorer for the season.
