No Inquiry On Dismissal
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 12. The national executive of the Federation of Labour had refused to conduct an inquiry into the recent suspension by the New Zealand Workers’ Union of its Wellington branch secretary and national president (Mt F. L. Fenton), said the union’s secretary (Mr H. J. Allen) yesterday. A letter from the secretary of the federation (Mr K. McL. Baxter) had said the suspension had obviously been based on “purely domestic grounds.”
