Slaughtermen working at the abattoirs at Cass Bay saw a shark’s fin about 100 yards off-shore at 6.46 a.m. yesterday. Leslie Walls, aged 13, a pupil of the Christchurch Technical College and a son of one of the slaughtermen, drew attention to the shark. Mr L. p. McDonald, a foreman butcher, said it was the first shark he had seen there x? i°®« totne - The watched st circle for 15 minutes.
