NEW RACING SHELL.—The Canterbury Rowing Club’s senior four crew (N. F. Smith, G. B. Walford, J. A. Hunter and T. W. Just) with the club’s new tandem-rigged four, the Wakarere, hoisted above their heads. The crew is expected to be a major place holder in the senior fours event at the Canterbury Provincial Rowing Championships at Charteris Bay next Saturday.
